We combine serious surf coaching with video analysis, daily yoga sessions, shared meals, a lot of Fuerteventura sunshine and laughter. A retreat designed to elevate your surf style and your spirit.
Meet the Coaches – Julian & Gianlu
These two don’t just coach surf – they live it. With a combined wave count that’s somewhere in the thousands (and jokes to match), Julian and Gianlu are the kind of humans you want in your corner when paddling out gets real.

Julian brings structure, sharp eyes and honest feedback to the table – plus the kind of dry humor that sneaks up on you mid-wipeout.

Gianlu is the smooth style guy, full of passion, patience and positive vibes – always ready with a smile and just the right tip to unlock your next breakthrough.

No two days are the same – and that’s exactly the point. This week is a carefully chaotic mix of surf, yoga, community and adventure. From sunrise stretches to sunset surf checks, from laughing in the line-up to chilling on the rooftop – it’s all in there.

Before you arrive – we’ve got you
We’re not just tossing you into the ocean with a mango in hand. Before the retreat starts, we’ll guide you through a short and sweet prep phase to make sure you feel ready (and excited) for what’s coming.

Day 1 – Arrival Day:
We kick things off with a laid-back BBQ at the villa. No icebreakers, no awkward intros – just good food, good tunes and good people. The perfect way to land in the Vitamin Sea zone.
Why all this? So you can squeeze every salty, sunny drop out of the week. It’s your ride – we’re just here to make sure the fins are on straight.
Get prepped, get hyped, and get ready for a week that might not make sense – but feels so-right.
Day 2 – Surf, Stretch & Italian Soul Food
We start the day with surf theory and your first coaching session – salty hair and paddle arms included. After a well-deserved break, you’ll unwind with a yoga flow that brings the body back to balance. And in the evening? It’s Italian dinner night: homemade, hearty, and shared under the stars.
Day 3: Surf, Stretch & Screen Time (the good kind)
We head back into the waves to build on your technique – paddling stronger, popping smoother, riding longer. After lunch, it’s yoga o’clock: breathe, move, reset.
In the afternoon, we hit replay – literally – with our first video analysis session. You’ll see yourself surf (yes, that’s you!) and get feedback to level up.
And in the evening? It’s homemade pizza & movie night. Think fresh slices, salty laughs and surf flicks under the stars.
Day 4: Flow, Focus & Freedom
Another day, another wave – and you’re feeling it. Surf coaching in the morning to dial in your style, followed by a mellow yoga session to stretch it all out. In the afternoon, it’s time to nerd out a bit: video analysis part two, where slow-mo meets “aha” moments.
Evening? It’s yours. Sunset on the rooftop, a dinner date in Lajares or just some solo time – follow your flow.
Day 5: Chill, Cruise & Cheers
Midweek mode: switched to mellow. We slow it down to soak it in. Sleep in, stretch out, maybe sneak in a beach nap. In the afternoon, it’s time to get rolling – literally – with a surfskate session that makes your turns smoother than your morning coffee.
Later, we hike up a volcano for sunset views and wide-open hearts. The evening? Cocktails, laughter, and a spontaneous island night out. Dress code: salty hair, shiny eyes.
Day 6: Flow, Footage & Flavors
We’re back on board – and back in flow. The day kicks off with surf coaching to fine-tune your style and chase those small wins that feel oh-so-big.
After yoga and another round of video feedback, the evening is all yours – and we’ll head out for dinner together.
New flavors, new stories, and that satisfied feeling of a well-salted day.
Day 7: Flow finale & Farewell Feels
One last surf session to soak it all in – salty smiles, solid turns, and those tiny breakthroughs that now feel second nature.
After yoga and our final video feedback, we wrap up the week with a cozy farewell dinner and a game night full of laughter, inside jokes and maybe a round of “who wiped out hardest.”

One last slow morning together – coffee in hand, sun on your face, and maybe a few sore muscles that feel like victory.

How do I get to the retreat location?
The nearest airport is Puerto del Rosario Airport (FUE), which is about a 30-minute drive from Lajares. Upon arrival, you can rent a car, take a taxi, or use a ride-sharing service to reach the retreat. Detailed directions and transportation options will be provided with your booking confirmation.

What activities can you do in your free time?
Surfing: With some of the best surf spots in Europe, Fuerteventura is a paradise for surfers. Grab a board and get up close and personal with the sea!
Cycling: Explore the surroundings of Fuerteventura by bike. Relax and unwind as you follow the gentle paths and trails through nature.
Running: Set your own pace as you explore the unique landscape of Fuerteventura. Let the rhythmic movement bring clarity and energy to your mind and body.
Hiking: Lace up your hiking boots and climb a volcano. There is much to discover both on the coast and inland.
Yoga or Pilates: Take advantage of the Sea Inside Yogastudio in El Cotillo to stretch, relax, and rejuvenate your body and mind.
Relaxing on the beach: Just sit back and relax on the sandy beaches of El Cotillo or the north shore of Fuerteventura. Enjoy the sun, read a book, or take a nap in the warm, salty air.
Can I extend my stay before or after the retreat?
You are welcome to extend your stay on Fuerteventura and explore the beautiful surroundings at your leisure. It is possible to arrive at the villa earlier and depart later. An additional night in a single room costs €70, and €55 in a double room. However, accommodation outside of the retreat is self-catering.
