You can rent your surfboard directly from the FreshSurf office in El Cotillo.
The selection ranges from softboards for beginners to hardboards for advanced surfers.

When does it make sense to rent a board?
It’s worth having your own board if you already have experience and can go into the water on your own.
If you’re just starting out, a surf course is usually the better choice.
There you will not only get the right equipment, but also the right assessment of conditions and spots.

How renting works
Simply drop by the FreshSurf office or contact us in advance.
Together we’ll see which board suits you best.
Then you can set off straight away.
On the road with your board
If you are traveling with a rental car, you can also rent soft racks from us.
This allows you to transport your surfboard safely to the various spots.

FAQ
Can I rent a board as a beginner?
If the conditions allow it, this is possible. However, we would first recommend a surfing course to learn the basics. You should be familiar with currents and the correct behavior in the water.
Do I need a wetsuit?
Except in midsummer, we would always advise you to wear a wetsuit.
How long can I borrow material for?
The duration of the loan is flexible. You always receive a discount of one day per 7 days. For longer periods, we will give you a good price. Feel free to ask!
