Internship on Fuerte: Luisa introduces herself

Hola!

I’m Luisa and I’m training to be a teacher of English, school psychology and Spanish in Munich. Since September I’d been on a semester abroad in the beautiful city of Córdoba in Andalusia and wanted to escape the German winter for a little longer afterwards. So, quite spontaneously, I looked for a way to combine sun, sea and surfing with an internship on Fuerteventura and came across FreshSurf and their surf camp. A few weeks later I’m walking from the Surfhouse, our surf camp in Fuerteventura, to the office with a huge smile, looking forward to the surf session in the afternoon and to my time on Fuerteventura.

Ever since my first longer trip to Central America, I’ve used every opportunity to live abroad, ideally in Spain, and I’ve always wanted to live by the sea for a while. Surfing has always fascinated me! Ever since I first tried it in Costa Rica five years ago, I was determined to learn to surf properly over a longer period at some point.

Internship on Fuerte for six weeks

Now I get to experience exactly that here for six weeks, and I’m looking forward to life at the Surfhouse with you, surf-crazy people, waves and sun! I’m excited about all the tasks waiting for me in and outside the office over the next few weeks.
