Poke bowls have been THE food trend par excellence lately. Now this healthy power food from Hawaii has also arrived at our El Cotillo. POKE Cotillo has opened right across from our surf house (accommodation for Surfcamp Fuerteventura). So you can enjoy this delicacy even while on holiday in the Hawaii of Europe.
A poke bowl traditionally consists of raw, marinated fish, various toppings and a base of white rice. Nowadays, however, there are no limits to the imagination, and vegetarian and vegan versions of the poke bowl are also available. The white sushi rice is often replaced with quinoa or brown rice. You can choose ready-made bowls from the menu or create your own personal bowl from the many different ingredients available. Fresh, healthy and rich in protein, the poke bowl is the perfect lunch after a surfing lesson.
The colourful creations are accompanied by craft beers and freshly squeezed juices to make the holiday feeling perfect.
