Looking back on last week: sunshine, perfect waves and good vibes
Last week at the surf camp on Fuerteventura was a real highlight for everyone who found their way to us. The weather spoiled us with bright sunshine and mild temperatures – ideal conditions to throw yourself into the waves and enjoy surfing to the fullest.
The Atlantic waves showed their best side, so beginners and advanced surfers alike got their money’s worth. It was one of those weeks when surfing on Fuerteventura is more than just a sport – it becomes a way of life.

Life at the surf camp: community, laughter and unforgettable evenings
The surf camp on Fuerteventura is not just a place to surf, it is also a place where people from all over the world meet to celebrate life together. All week long the mood at the camp was marked by a special lightness.
Getting together every day created a familiar atmosphere in which new friendships were made and old ones renewed.
A special highlight was the get-together at “Bagus”. Over cool drinks and good music we looked back on the day, swapped stories and celebrated the successes of the last surf lessons.
As always, “Bagus” was the perfect place to share the day’s experiences and ride one or two waves again in our minds. This week showed once again: at the surf camp on Fuerteventura we don’t just surf together, we laugh and live together too.

Our surf lessons: progress, joy and special moments
This week the surf lessons on Fuerteventura were once again at the heart of everything we did. It was especially lovely to see how many families took on the surfing adventure together.
It is always inspiring to see parents and children catch their first waves together in the water and find a whole new way of connecting with each other. The pride in the children’s eyes when they successfully master their first steps on the board is priceless – just like the joy of the parents accompanying their little and not-so-little ones in this new experience.
We had the pleasure of welcoming some lovely guests back to our surf camp. It is always great to see familiar faces and watch the progress of those who have already tried their luck in the waves of Fuerteventura before.
With a lot of effort and the tireless support of our experienced surf coaches, she was able to refine her technique and work her way up to more challenging waves. It is this individual approach we follow in our lessons that makes the difference.
Each of our surf coaches takes the time to respond to the needs and learning progress of the participants, which makes learning to surf on Fuerteventura a unique experience!
Farewell to Andi and Nina: a big thank you to our interns
Sadly, this week we also had to say goodbye to two special people: our interns Andi and Nina finished their time at the surf camp on Fuerteventura after several months full of commitment and passion.
Both made an invaluable contribution during this time – whether organising the surf lessons, looking after our guests or through their always positive and warm-hearted manner, which enriched everyday life at the camp.
Andi and Nina threw themselves into every task with great dedication and were always there with a smile. They created a great atmosphere not only at the camp but also in the water and were an important support and inspiration for many of our guests.
Saying goodbye is hard, but we are grateful for the time we spent together and wish you both all the best on your journey. You will always have a place in the waves and in our hearts here at the surf camp!

Last week at the surf camp on Fuerteventura is one we will all remember for a long time. The combination of perfect conditions, motivated participants and the unique community at the camp created an atmosphere that is hard to put into words – you have to have experienced it to really understand it.
