A warm welcome to the FreshSurf team, Anne!

Hej, lovely people,

I’d like to quickly introduce myself. I’m Anne, the new addition at FreshSurf, and for six whole months I get to call El Cotillo my home and the FreshSurf team my family.

Over the next few months you’ll find me either at the Surfvilla, in the sea, on the beach or on the island’s volcanoes.

As a born northerner close to the Baltic Sea and surrounded by the Mecklenburg Lake District, I basically grew up with water. My training and studies, however, took me further and further into southern Germany. Also very beautiful, but sadly far from the sea. The Rhine may be big and have lots of water, but for me it simply can’t replace the sea. Now my longing is so strong that it’s time for more sea – and who hasn’t dreamt of living in a beautiful surf villa and feeling the wind in their hair every day?

I’m now on the island for a semester off, and after one week as an intern at the FreshSurf Surfvilla I can assure you that I’ll enjoy every single day to the full and spoil you, the guests of the Surfvilla, with a colourful, varied breakfast.

I’m looking forward to my time here – just drop by and let yourselves be enchanted by the sparkle of the sea and the sound of the waves.
