Freediving
Overcome your instincts and reflexes: When freediving, you dive down, without equipment, longer and further into the depths each time. Learn to control and hold your breath, relax your muscles, and master the technique for gliding down into the depths of the sea on a single breath.
Also known as freediving, freediving is the most primal form of diving and a sport that lets you better understand your instincts and gives you more self-confidence in the water. We organize courses for different levels or especially for surfers with our cooperation diving school.
For those who are interested: The world records for freediving are 11:35 minutes underwater and 281 meters deep.
Discover freediving!
The taster course is just right for anyone who would like to try freediving. It covers the theoretical basics, breathing and balancing techniques, as well as the safety aspects of freediving. Then it’s off to the open water, where you slowly approach time diving: Stay underwater for as long as possible with one breath before diving down to 8 meters on a rope.
Freediving: Level 1
The perfect introduction to freediving: In the Level 1 course, you will develop the skills you need to go freediving in open water without an instructor. In theory, your coach will teach you all the techniques relating to breathing, relaxation, pressure equalization, safety and rescue. After a session with static and dynamic apnea techniques in confined waters (pool, still water), two dives follow in open water – up to 20m.
Freediving: Level 2
The aim is to give you more confidence in and understanding of freediving. In theory, the coaches will explain the effects of freediving on the cardiovascular system and buoyancy, Dalton’s and Boyle’s laws, BWO/SWBO, the diving reflex and various training concepts. In practice, you will first learn the application in 2 sessions in confined water and then in 3 dives in open water – up to 30m.

Training for surfers
After a wipe-out, longer hold-down times occur in extreme conditions: Keep calm here. Unlike freediving, the hold-down is associated with more stress and a higher heart rate – the course deals specifically with these conditions. You will be shown what happens in your body after a wipe-out and how you can – against your instincts – hold your breath longer and stay relaxed.
Diving at night
When the fish become more active at night and come out of their hiding places, that’s the time for a dive! Equipped with a flashlight and fluorescent light, you go on a discovery tour – either diving in shallow waters or snorkeling in the lagoons. Not to be compared with a dive during the day, this is a completely new experience – an exciting experience!
