Pitaya – Spanish-style culinary breakfast in El Cotillo
The Pitaya Café is located right next to the old harbour in the heart of Cotillo and is the perfect place for a hearty breakfast. Lovingly furnished and with a family atmosphere, Pitaya offers you a quiet place, a little oasis of relaxation to enjoy a hearty breakfast on holiday.
We really like the so-called ‘tostadas’ (crispy bread/toast) with poached eggs, Spanish ham, avocado, tomato and Canarian goat’s cheese. These are available in different varieties and of course there is also something for the vegetarians among us.
Charming staff – culinary specialities – fine prices
Pitaya – the very special
The breakfast bowls are also very special at Pitaya. If you like fruit with yoghurt, muesli and gofio for breakfast, this is the place for you. Something like this is actually not that easy to find in El Cotillo and is therefore a little insider tip.
If you get the munchies at lunchtime or later in the day, don’t miss out on the snacks at Pitaya. From 1 p.m., the kitchen prepares absolute delicacies. In Spanish style, you will find homemade tortillas, excellent burgers, special salads and other culinary tapas and specialities.
