The wind picked up, a few rainy days dotted the weeks, and temperatures dipped a bit at times. Even the indigenous people of Fuerteventura, the Majoreros, regarded it as a spiritual place. But even without climbing to the summit, Tindaya has a unique effect. On Sundays, there\u2019s a lively farmers\u2019 market there\u2014a real highlight for anyone who loves local produce. It\u2019s a wonderful place to browse and sample fresh fruits and vegetables, homemade pastries, and tangy goat cheese.  <\/p>\n<p>After the market, we headed to the beach\u2014Sotavento Beach, to be exact. The sun was out again, the sea was gently lapping in the background, and we could just sit back and enjoy the moment. Afterward, of course, we couldn\u2019t pass up a \u201cLeche y Leche\u201d\u2014a Canarian coffee with so much foam and condensed milk that a spoon can stand upright in it. She was hit by a car on Fuerteventura, ended up at the shelter, and had to undergo surgery, which is why she still can&#8217;t put her full weight on her hind leg. But anyone who&#8217;s met her would never guess it: she&#8217;s full of energy, playful, cheeky, and incredibly full of life.  <\/p>\n<p>In the blink of an eye, she stole our hearts and enriched our daily lives.
