I\u2019m Mareen and I\u2019ll be the intern at FreshSurf for the coming months. For the last two years I worked as a media producer at an e-learning company in Cologne. Over the last few months it became more and more clear to me that I\u2019m not made for a routine 9-to-5 job. 30 days of holiday weren\u2019t enough to satisfy my longing for the sea and the waves. At the end of the year I decided to quit my job \u2013 and my flat along with it.<\/p>\n
My friends\u2019 reaction was always the same: “Wow, that\u2019s brave!” I\u2019ll probably only find out what they meant over the coming weeks. Because my mind always tells me: “If you\u2019re not happy, change something!” Maybe my new adventure will also encourage others to take this step and turn their dreams into action.<\/p>\n
